School enrollments drop in last 2 years: Govt data

New Delhi, Mar 27 (PTI) The country has reported a worrying drop in school enrollments in 2023-24, especially at the elementary level where numbers declined by around eight percentage points compared to 2021-22, according to government data presented in Parliament on Thursday. Banks’ loan growth slows for eighth straight month in February, RBI data shows

MUMBAI, March 27 (Reuters) – Loan growth at banks moderated for an eighth straight month in February, central bank data showed on Thursday, due to a drop in personal and credit card loans following tighter rules by the Reserve Bank of India.
