ALVARADO, Texas May 15, 2025 (AP) — A Georgetown University scholar from India who was arrested in the Trump administration’s crackdown on foreign college students was released from immigration detention Wednesday after a federal judge’s ruling. Badar Khan Suri will go home to his family in Virginia while he awaits the outcome of his petition against the Trump administration for wrongful arrest and detention in violation of the First Amendment and other constitutional rights. Indore/Bhopal, May 15 (PTI) An FIR was registered against Madhya Pradesh minister Vijay Shah in Indore district on Wednesday night for allegedly making objectionable remarks against Colonel Sofia Qureshi. In a post on X, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said instructions were given to take action against minister Shah following the orders of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. A police officer said an FIR has been registered at the Manpur police station. Superintendent of Police (rural) Hitika Vasal confirmed the development. May 15 (CNN) Long working hours might not just be bad for you, they could also be altering the structure of your brain, a new study suggests. The research, published Tuesday, found “significant changes” in the brains of people who were overworking, which is a combination of physical and emotional overexertion, as well as a lack of rest. New Delhi, May 14 (PTI) Gold prices declined Rs 650 to Rs 96,850 per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday amid a weak trend in global markets, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity had closed at Rs 97,500 per 10 grams in the previous market session. Gold of 99.5 per cent purity depreciated Rs 700 to Rs 96,400 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes).
