May 14 (Fox News Health) – Addressing hearing loss in the elderly could help alleviate the growing loneliness epidemic among senior citizens, according to a report from SWNS. A new study led by researchers at NYU Langone Health found that providing hearing aids and guidance on their use may help preserve vital social connections that often diminish with age, which could reduce feelings of isolation. Mumbai, May 14 (PTI) Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended higher on Wednesday as retail inflation eased to a nearly six-year low of 3.16 per cent in April, creating enough room for the RBI to go for another rate cut in the June monetary policy review. A cooling US April inflation data and a pause in global trade tensions added to the positive trend in the equity markets, traders said. In a highly volatile trade, the 30-share BSE benchmark gauge Sensex climbed 182.34 points or 0.22 per cent to settle at 81,330.56. The gauge hit a high of 81,691.87

At the interbank foreign exchange, the domestic unit opened on a positive note and moved between the intra-day high of 85.05 and the low of 85.52 against the greenback. The unit ended the session

NEW DELHI, May 14 (Reuters) – India said on Wednesday that it rejects China’s move to rename places in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh where the Asian neighbours share a border, adding that the Himalayan territory was an integral part of India. Beijing has renamed places in Arunachal Pradesh in the past as well and the issue has been an irritant in ties between the two countries, especially as they deteriorated sharply after a deadly military clash elsewhere on their border in 2020. They reached an agreement in October to step back from their four-year military stand-off in the
