Stock markets decline in initial trade on foreign fund outflows, weak Asian peers

Mumbai, Nov 4 (PTI) Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading lower in early trade on Tuesday amid persistent foreign fund outflows and weak trend in Asian markets. The 30-share BSE Sensex dropped 55 points to 83,923.48 in early trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty dipped 40.95 points to 25,722.40. From the Sensex firms, Power Grid, Eternal, HCL Tech, Maruti, Tata Motors and Infosys were among the major laggards. However, Bharti Airtel, Titan, Reliance Industries and Mahindra & Mahindra were the gainers. ED freezes Anil Ambani Group properties Rs 3084 crore

NEW DELHI, Nov 3 (Reuters) – The ED (Enforcement Directorate) has provisionally frozen Rs 3084 crore ($351 million) worth of real estate assets linked to Reliance Anil Ambani Group as part of a money-laundering investigation, it said in a statement on Monday. The case relates to loans from India’s YES Bank in excess of $569 million taken out by the group between 2017 and 2019 and involves what the Enforcement Directorate alleges was the diversion and laundering of public funds. ROME, November 3, 2025 (AP) — A medieval tower in the heart of Italy’s capital, near the famous Roman Forum ruins, partially collapsed on Monday during work to renovate the structure, seriously injuring at least one worker, Italian media reported. Hundreds of tourists watched as firefighters used a mobile ladder and brought a stretcher to the upper level of the Torre dei Conti.
