Mumbai, Jul 18 (PTI) The rupee appreciated 6 paise to 86.06 against the US dollar in early trade on Friday on the back of a weaker greenback and a marginal drop in global crude oil prices. Mumbai, Jul 18 (PTI) Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty declined in initial trade on Friday dragged by foreign fund outflows and a muted start to the earnings season. ISLAMABAD, July 18, 2025 (AP) — Heavy monsoon rains killed at least 54 people in eastern Pakistan in 24 hours, bringing the total rain-related deaths in the country to 178 over the past three weeks, officials said Thursday. Rainfall has triggered flash floods and inundated several villages as the country experiences 82% more rainfall this month compared to the same period in July 2024, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said.
