New Delhi, Jul 22 (PTI) Opposition MPs, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, on Tuesday staged a protest in Parliament House complex against the Election Commission’s voter roll revision in Bihar. New Delhi, Jul 22 (PTI) Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh chaired the proceedings of the morning session on Tuesday, a day after Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned as Vice President citing medical reasons. Mumbai, Jul 22 (PTI) The rupee traded in a narrow range and appreciated 5 paise to 86.26 against US dollar in early trade on Tuesday, tracking a positive trend in domestic equities. Forex traders said uncertainty over the eventual state of tariffs globally has been a huge overhang for the forex market, leaving currencies trading in a tight range. Mumbai, Jul 22 (PTI) Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty started the day on an optimistic note on Tuesday, helped by a rally in Eternal and blue-chip bank stocks. A largely firm trend in Asian markets also added to the equity markets’ optimism during the initial trade. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 337.83 points to 82,538.17 in early trade.
