Mumbai, Nov 27 (PTI) The rupee stayed weak trading 2 paise lower at 89.24 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday due to increased demand of American currency from importers amid volatile global trade. According to forex traders, the rupee found support from fresh inflow of foreign capital into domestic stock markets and lower crude oil prices in the international market. DHAKA, Bangladesh, November 26, 2025 (AP) — A devastating fire in a crowded slum int the heart of Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka has destroyed 1,500 shanties, leaving thousands homeless, authorities said Wednesday. No casualties have been reported. The blaze, which began Tuesday evening at the massive Korail slum in Dhaka, was doused Wednesday after 16 hours, said Rashed Bin Khalid, a duty officer at the Department of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
