Sleep apnea raises risk of Parkinson’s disease, study finds

A major new study has found a notable connection between untreated sleep apnea and an increased risk of Parkinson’s disease. A team of researchers from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) studied more than 11 million veterans aged 40 and older who did not already have Parkinson’s disease.
