SEBI asks regulated entities, agents to disclose registation no. on social media platforms while posting contents

New Delhi, Feb 26 (PTI) Markets regulator SEBI on Thursday directed all entities regulated by it, along with their agents, to prominently disclose their registered name and registration number on social media platforms (SMPs) while posting securities market-related content. SEBI changes gold, silver valuation for mutual funds

Feb 26 (Reuters) – SEBI on Thursday directed mutual funds to use domestic stock exchange spot prices to value their physical gold and silver holdings from April 1, 2026. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said mutual funds may now use polled spot prices from recognized stock exchanges that settle physically delivered gold and silver derivatives contracts, ensuring that valuations reflect domestic market conditions. The change moves away from the currently used London Bullion Market Association prices to arrive at the valuation of gold and silver held by exchange traded funds.

Silver declines by Rs 7,400, gold falls by 1,300 amid weak global trends

New Delhi, Feb 26 (PTI) Silver prices declined by Rs 7,400 to Rs 2.70 lakh per kg while gold dropped by Rs 1,300 to Rs 1.62 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday due to weak global trends and profit-booking by traders.
