New Delhi, Sep 8 (PTI) Gold prices extended their losses for the second straight session, falling by Rs 2,150 to Rs 1.58 lakh per 10 grams, in the national capital on Tuesday amid a weak trend in global markets. The yellow metal of 99.9 per cent purity depreciated by Rs 2,150 to Rs 1,58,100 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes), according to the All India Sarafa Association. RBI launches key surveys to get inputs for monetary policy

Mumbai, Sep 8 (PTI) The Reserve Bank on Tuesday launched three key surveys to gauge inflation expectations and consumer confidence in the country and gather key inputs for its monetary policy. The next bi-monthly monetary policy is scheduled to be announced on October 7. The September round of the Inflation Expectations Survey of Households (IESH) is aimed at capturing subjective assessments on price movements and inflation, based on individual consumption baskets, across 19 cities.
