Kolkata, Oct 27 (PTI) The Enforcement Directorate has arrested West Bengal minister Jyotipriyo Mallick in a money laundering case linked to an alleged multi-core ration distribution scam in the state, official sources said on Friday. The minister was apprehended under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act in the early hours of Friday following over 17-18 hours of questioning, they said. India ‘exploring all legal options’ after Qatari court sentences 8 Indians to death for spying

NEW DELHI (AP) — The Indian government on Thursday vowed to explore “all legal options” after a Qatari court handed death sentences to eight Indian employees of a Qatari company on spying charges. Long Covid may not be linked to brain damage, study finds

New Delhi, Oct 26 (PTI) Long Covid does not appear to be linked to direct viral invasion or active damage of the brain, according to a new study. Researchers at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, performed blood tests and invasive procedures to procure blood and cerebrospinal fluid samples of 25 people with confirmed long Covid condition, in which symptoms last for months after the infection.
