Congress writes to EC alleging mass deletion of voters by ‘misuse’ of Form 7, seeks probe

New Delhi, Jan 29 (PTI) The Congress on Thursday wrote to the Election Commission alleging mass deletion of names of eligible voters from the electoral rolls by BJP members through the “misuse” of Form 7 during the SIR process across several states and demanded registration of FIRs against them. Silver surpass Rs 4 lakh/kg mark in Delhi; gold hits new record of Rs 1.83 lakh/10g

New Delhi, Jan 29 (PTI) Silver prices surpassed the Rs 4 lakh per kilogram mark in the national capital on Thursday, while gold hit a new peak of Rs 1.83 lakh per 10 grams, tracking a sharp rally in global markets and strong investor demand for the safe-haven assets.
