NEW DELHI, February 6, 2025 (AP) — India’s Parliament was disrupted on Thursday as opposition lawmakers protested the alleged mistreatment of 104 Indian immigrants deported by the United States. A U.S. military plane on Wednesday carrying 104 deported Indian migrants arrived in a northern Indian city, the first such flight to the country as part of a crackdown ordered by the Trump administration. New Delhi, Feb 6 (PTI) Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm on Thursday amid vociferous protests by opposition members on the issue of deportation of illegal Indian immigrants from the United States. As soon as the House reassembled at 12 noon after the first adjournment of the day, the opposition members were on their feet trying to raise the issue.
