Mumbai, Oct 29 (PTI) Stock market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty settled in the positive territory on Wednesday, tracking a rally in global peers, amid hopes of a rate cut by the US Federal Reserve and fresh foreign fund inflows. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 368.97 points or 0.44 per cent to settle at 84,997.13. During the day, it jumped 477.67 points or 0.56 per cent to 85,105.83. New Delhi, Oct 29, (PTI) Gold futures slipped Rs 176 to Rs 1,19,470 per 10 grams on Wednesday, as investors remained cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decision later in the day.
