ROME, November 3, 2025 (AP) — A medieval tower in the heart of Italy’s capital, near the famous Roman Forum ruins, partially collapsed on Monday during work to renovate the structure, seriously injuring at least one worker, Italian media reported. New Delhi, Nov 3 (PTI) Gold prices fell by Rs 300 to Rs 1,25,300 per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday as a stronger dollar and easing global uncertainties weighed on investor appetite for the safe-haven asset. The precious metal of 99.5 per cent purity declined by Rs 300 to Rs 1,24,700 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes). Listening to music may cut dementia risk by 40%: New study

A new study has found that listening to or playing music can significantly reduce the risk of developing dementia among older adults. Researchers reported that people over 70 who regularly engage with music are nearly 40% less likely to experience cognitive decline. The research, published in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, followed more than 10,000 adults over several years to evaluate how musical engagement affects brain health. New Delhi, Nov 3 (PTI) The Supreme Court said on Monday it will issue certain directions following a plea urging the Election Commission to ensure that every political party publishes its memorandum, rules and regulations on its website. A bench of Justices Surya Kant, Ujjal Bhuyan and Joymalya Bagchi, which issued notice to the Centre and the Election Commission (EC) on an application filed by advocate Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay, said, “Unless there are very strong impediments, we would like to issue certain directions”.
