Gold rallies to hit 2-wk high of Rs 1.49 lakh/10g; silver rebounds Rs 8,500 on firm global cues
New Delhi, Jul 22 (PTI) Gold prices jumped by Rs 1,900 to a two-week high of Rs 1.49 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday, tracking robust physical demand and firm trends in global markets. The yellow metal of 99.9 per cent purity appreciated by Rs 1,900 to Rs 1,49,600 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes), according to the All India Sarafa Association. It had settled at Rs 1,47,700 per 10 grams on Tuesday. On July 7, gold quoted Rs 1,49,250 per 10 grams in the local market. Silver rebounded after six consecutive sessions of losses,
