Mumbai, Nov 14 (PTI) Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty reversed early losses to end modestly higher on Friday as investors turned to buying blue-chip stocks at beaten down prices. The 30-share BSE Sensex benchmark began the trade on a negative note by declining 449.35 points, or 0.53 per cent to 84,029.32. The NSE Nifty started the day off lower by 138.35 points or 0.53 per cent to 25,740.80. Patna, Nov 14 (PTI) The ruling NDA was leading in 166 seats, surpassing the majority mark of 122, in early trends as counting was underway for the Bihar assembly polls on Friday morning, according to the Election Commission. The opposition INDIA bloc was way behind, leading in 59 of the 243 seats in the assembly. The tally is likely to change with several rounds of counting still left. Mumbai, Nov 14 (PTI) Equity benchmark in stock markets indices Sensex and Nifty opened on a weaker note on Friday as weak global market trends and jitters ahead of the Bihar election outcome weighed on the investor sentiment.
