PARIS, Feb 20 (Reuters) – France’s Soufflet Malt, the world’s largest malt producer, will invest 100 million euros ($118.2 million) in a new production facility in India as it aims to capture rising beer demand in emerging markets, it said on Friday. The facility, to be located in the south of the state of Rajasthan, will produce 110,000 metric tons of malt annually in its first phase, which is scheduled for completion by early 2028. Mumbai, Feb 20 (PTI) Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty recovered their early losses and were trading higher on Friday, lifted by buying in banking and capital goods shares. The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 291.93 points, or 0.35 per cent, to 82,206.21 in early trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty dropped 74.6 points, or 0.29 per cent, to 25,379.75. However, both benchmark indices soon rebounded from their early losses and were trading in positive territory.
