Gold slides to Rs 1.52 lakh/10g; silver edges higher ahead of Fed rate decision
New Delhi, Apr 29 (PTI) Gold prices declined by Rs 1,500 to Rs 1.52 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday due to profit booking as rising crude oil rates raise concerns over inflation ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s decision. However, silver prices posted a modest gain of Rs 500 to Rs 2,44,500 per kilogram (inclusive of all taxes) from Tuesday’s closing level of Rs 2,44,000 per kg, as per the All India Sarafa Association.
