Mumbai, Dec 5 (PTI) The rupee appreciated 20 paise to 89.69 against the US dollar in early trade on Friday, ahead of the Reserve Bank’s monetary policy decision. Forex traders said investors remain cautious ahead of the RBI’s monetary policy decision, noting that a neutral stance may not shake markets much. MUMBAI, Dec 5 (Reuters) – The RBI (Reserve Bank of India) cut its key repo rate by 25 basis points on Friday, in line with a consensus view, as record low retail inflation and a benign outlook for prices provided ample room to further support economic growth. Mumbai, Dec 5 (PTI) Stock market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty faced highly volatile trends in early trade on Friday ahead of the RBI’s monetary policy decision due later in the day. DHAKA, Bangladesh, December 4, 2025 (AP) — A special tribunal in Bangladesh’s capital on Thursday issued an arrest warrant against Sajeeb Wazed, the son of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, over alleged crimes against humanity during last year’s mass uprising that ended his mother’s 15-year rule.
