Sanon, who is currently in her ninth year as an actor, bagged the award on Thursday for her performance in filmmaker Laxman Utekar’s dramedy “Mimi”. “It is definitely a big moment for me, my family and those who associated with me on this film. Russian President Putin has no plans to attend G20 in India in person: Kremlin

MOSCOW, Aug 25 (Reuters) – The Kremlin said on Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin had no plans to attend the G20 summit in India in September in person. The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant for Putin accusing him of war crimes in Ukraine, something the Kremlin strongly denies. This means he risks arrest when travelling abroad. This week he attended a gathering of leaders from the BRICS group of emerging economies in South Africa by video link, not in person.

NEW DELHI, Aug 25 (Reuters) – India’s finance minister on Friday said taming inflation was a priority, and that hiking interest rates was not the only tool available. “Obsession to use interest rates as the only tool to deal with inflation and not manage the supply side factors will not give a complete solution,” Nirmala Sitharaman said. New Delhi, Aug. 23 (PTI) The Dengue virus could become more virulent due to increasing temperatures, according to a study that could help in predicting and mitigating the severity and virulence of the recurring tropical disease that witnesses an outbreak in the monsoon. Researchers at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) in Kerala found that dengue becomes more severe and hostile in animal models when its virus (DENV) while being grown in mosquito-derived cells is exposed to higher temperatures.
