BJP-led Mahayuti’s campaign filled with hate, poison: Congress

New Delhi, Nov 11 (PTI) The Congress on Monday accused the BJP-led Mahayuti government in Maharashtra of deliberately infusing “hate and poison” into its poll campaign and attempting to “disturb communal harmony in the state.” Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the campaign revealed the “sick mindset” of the BJP. “The Mahayuti, led by the BJP, has only one agenda in its campaign. It is simply and only to polarize society on the basis of religion and to disturb communal harmony in the state. Such an awful campaign reveals its sick mindset,” Ramesh wrote in a post on X.

President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to him at a brief swearing-in ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Justice Khanna took the oath in English in the name of god. Born on May 14, 1960, Justice Khanna will serve as the CJI for a little over six months and demit office on May 13, 2025, on attaining the age of 65 years. Kendrapara, Nov 9 (PTI) Several Dalit women sat on dharna in front of a temple in Odisha’s Kendrapara district on Saturday after they were allegedly denied to perform the ritual of offering milk to the deity in the holy month of Kartik, police said.
