New Delhi, Mar 21 (PTI) Gold prices decreased Rs 400 to Rs 91,250 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday due to profit-booking and a subdued trend in the global markets, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity had settled at Rs 91,650 per 10 grams on Thursday. Gold of 99.5 per cent purity went lower by Rs 400 to Rs 90,800 per 10 grams. New Delhi, Mar 21 (PTI) Equity investors have become richer by Rs 22.12 lakh crore in the five-day stock rally which saw the benchmark BSE Sensex jumping more than 4 per cent. On Friday, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 557.45 points or 0.73 per cent to settle at 76,905.51. During the day, it surged 693.88 points or 0.90 per cent to 77,041.94. In five days, the Sensex zoomed 3,076.6 points or 4.16 per cent. Patna, Mar 21 (PTI) War of words between the ruling and opposition MLAs over Bihar Chief Nitish Kumar allegedly “insulting” the national anthem rocked the assembly on Friday. New Delhi, May 21 (PTI) Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday disposed of petitions seeking disqualification of three MPs belonging to the NCP and NCP-SP from the House after the two parties sought no further action in the matter. A petition under Rule 6(2) of the Members of Rajya Sabha (Disqualification on Ground of Defection) Rules, 1985, was presented on November 20, 2023 by Praful Patel as regards Vandana Chavan and Fauzia Khan, another member Rajya Sabha (3rd April, 2020 to 2nd April, 2026), for the Chairman’s consideration.
