New Delhi, Mar 28 (PTI) Central GST (CGST) field offices will remain open on March 29-31, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) said on Friday. The CBIC directive came days after a similar directive from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) regarding income tax department offices “to facilitate completion of pending departmental work. School enrollments drop in last 2 years: Govt data

New Delhi, Mar 27 (PTI) The country has reported a worrying drop in school enrollments in 2023-24, especially at the elementary level where numbers declined by around eight percentage points compared to 2021-22, according to government data presented in Parliament on Thursday. New Delhi, Mar 27 (PTI) Gold prices increased by Rs 365 to Rs 91,050 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday amid a strong trend in the overseas markets, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity had closed at Rs 90,685 per 10 grams on Wednesday.
