New Delhi, Jan 31 (PTI) Gold prices on Friday hit a fresh all-time high of Rs 82,415 per 10 grams in futures trade in line with firm global trends. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for April delivery hit a record high of Rs 82,415 per 10 grams in early trade. The contract later pared some gains to trade Rs 199 or 0.24 per cent higher at Rs 82,243 per 10 grams with an open interest of 15,816 lots. NEW DELHI, Jan 31 (Reuters) – The Indian government’s economic report, coming a day ahead of the annual budget, is likely to project GDP growth of 6.3%-6.8% in 2025-26, according to two sources familiar with the matter. MUMBAI, Jan 31 (Reuters) – The Indian rupee slipped to an all-time low on Friday, as the threat of U.S. trade tariffs under President Donald Trump weighed on most Asian currencies, while the Reserve Bank of India likely stepped in to support the local unit, traders said.
