Hyderabad, Jan 8 (PTI) Senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar, one of the accused in the FIR registered in Formula E race issue, appeared before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here on Wednesday. The ACB had earlier summoned Arvind Kumar for questioning in connection with the alleged irregularities in conducting the Formula-E race, and accordingly he reached the agency’s headquarters. GUWAHATI, India, January 8, 2025 (AP) — Indian army divers retrieved the body of one of at least nine miners trapped inside a flooded coal mine in India’s northeastern Assam state, officials said Wednesday. MUMBAI, Jan 7 (Reuters) – The Indian rupee logged its biggest one-day gain in more than a month on Tuesday as the dollar dipped towards a one-week low, boosting regional currencies, while foreign banks’ dollar sales also helped. The rupee closed up 0.1% at 85.7125 against the U.S. dollar, its strongest daily gain since late-November.
