New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) The Supreme Court on Wednesday protected from arrest till February 14 former IAS probationer Puja Khedkar, accused of cheating and wrongly availing OBC and disability quota benefits in the civil services examination. A bench of Justices B V Nagarathna and Satish Chandra Sharma issued notice to the Delhi government and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Khedkar’s plea seeking anticipatory bail. “Issue notice returnable on February 14, 2025. New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) The Supreme Court on Wednesday sought responses from the Centre and the poll panel on Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh’s plea against the recent amendments, including no public access to CCTV, to the 1961 election rules. MUMBAI, Jan 15 (Reuters) – Some analysts are pushing back expectations for interest rate cuts in India as the rupee’s slump to record lows fans worries about inflation, even as growth in Asia’s third-largest economy slows.
