Gold extends gain for 2nd straight day, climbs Rs 500 to Rs 99,170 per 10 g; silver trades flat
New Delhi, Jul 2 (PTI) Gold prices jumped Rs 500 to Rs 99,170 per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday, tracking heavy global buying amid renewed concerns over US tariffs. According to the All India Sarafa Association, the precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity had ended Rs 1,200 higher at Rs 98,670 per 10 grams on Tuesday. The yellow metal has gained Rs 1,700 per 10 grams in the two consecutive sessions. Gold of 99.5 per cent purity climbed Rs 450 to Rs 98,600 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes).
