Mumbai, Jul 7 (PTI) The rupee fell sharply by 47 paise to close at 85.87 (provisional) against the US dollar on Monday amid rising global crude oil prices and a strong American currency. Mumbai, Jul 7 (PTI) Benchmark stock indices Sensex and Nifty closed almost unchanged on Monday in a highly volatile trade amid caution ahead of the July 9 US tariff deadline, weak trends in Asian markets and foreign fund outflows.
