New Delhi, May 5 (PTI) Gold prices rose Rs 550 to Rs 97,350 per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday amid rise in precious metal rates in the global markets. According to the All India Sarafa Association, the precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity had closed at Rs 96,800 per 10 grams on Friday. Gold of 99.5 per cent purity also appreciated Rs 550 to Rs 96,900 per 10 grams on Monday. The yellow metal had settled at Rs 96,350 per 10 grams in the previous market session. Allahabad High Court disposes of petition on Rahul Gandhi’s Indian citizenship

Lucknow, May 5 (PTI) The Allahabad High Court’s Lucknow bench on Monday disposed of a petition questioning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Indian citizenship and allowed the petitioner to explore other alternative legal remedies. Study finds abnormalities in brain common to insomnia, anxiety, depression

New Delhi, May 5 (PTI) A new study has found three brain abnormalities common to insomnia, anxiety and depression — and one of them is a smaller thalamus in the brain, which is linked to attention and memory problems. The other two are — a weaker connectivity which hampers communication between brain regions and a reduced area of the cerebral cortex, a form of brain damage also impacting memory and language.
