April 14 (Reuters) – Gold prices dipped more than 1% on Monday, retreating from a record high hit earlier in the day, as risk appetite improved after the White House exempted smartphones and computers from reciprocal tariffs on China. Spot gold was down 1.2% at $3,199.09 an ounce, as of 09:24 a.m. ET (1324 GMT), after hitting an all-time high of $3,245.42. SBI passes on RBI rate cut benefit to borrowers, reduces interest rate by 25 bps

New Delhi, Apr 14 (PTI) The country’s largest lender SBI (State Bank of India) has reduced its lending rate by 25 basis points following the Reserve Bank’s policy rate cut, making loans cheaper for both existing and new borrowers.. With the latest round of reduction, the Repo Linked Lending Rate (RLLR) of SBI would come down by 25 basis points to 8.25 per cent. It has also reduced the External Benchmark Based Lending Rate (EBLR) by similar basis points to 8.65 per cent.
