Mumbai, May 8 (PTI) The rupee gained 23 paise to 84.54 against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday, as the US Federal Reserve kept the federal fund rate steady. Forex traders said sustained foreign fund inflows and overall dollar weakness supported the local unit but geopolitical tensions continue to dent investor sentiments. New Delhi, May 8 (PTI) (May 8) Over 30 per cent of girls and 13 per cent of boys in India experienced sexual violence before turning 18 years old in 2023, according to an analysis published in The Lancet journal.
