Arunachal govt announces 3 pc hike in DA for employees, pensioners

Itanagar, Oct 10 (PTI) The Arunachal Pradesh government announced a three per cent hike in DA (dearness allowance) from the existing 55 per cent to 58 per cent for its employees and pensioners. The increase will be effective from July 1. In a post on social media, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said the enhancement will benefit state government employees, pensioners, and AIS officers serving in the state. Mumbai, Oct 10 (PTI) Benchmark Sensex rose by nearly 300 points while Nifty traded above the 25,250 level in the early session on Friday, following buying in realty and utilities stocks. Mumbai, Oct 10 (PTI) The rupee traded almost flat at 88.78 in the early session on Friday, hovering near all-time lows against the US dollar due to a stronger greenback in the overseas markets.
