Gold rebounds Rs 3,000; silver rallies Rs 10,000 as easing US-Iran tensions revive bullion demand
New Delhi, Jun 12 (PTI) Gold prices rebounded by Rs 3,000 to Rs 1.56 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday, and silver advanced by Rs 10,000 to Rs 2.55 lakh per kilogram as signs of a diplomatic breakthrough in the US-Iran standoff rekindled interest in the precious metals. According to local marketmen, the yellow metal of 99.9 per cent purity climbed by Rs 3,000 to Rs 1,56,900 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes) from Thursday’s closing level of Rs 1,53,900 per 10 grams.
