Mumbai, Sep 5 (PTI) Benchmark stock indices Sensex and Nifty closed unchanged after a volatile session on Friday as gains in oil & gas and auto shares were offset by losses in IT and FMCG shares. After a volatile trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed lower by 7.25 points or 0.01 per cent at 80,710.76 with 14 of its components ending with gains and 16 with losses. Mumbai, Sep 5 (PTI) The rupee declined 15 paise to close at an all-time low of Rs 88.27 (provisional) against the US dollar on Friday amid sustained outflow of foreign funds and fear of additional US tariffs against India. A weak greenback and falling crude oil prices failed to prevent the fall in local unit, forex traders said. New Delhi, Sep 5 (PTI) Gold prices jumped by Rs 900 to Rs 1,06,970 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday, inching closer to record high levels on fresh buying by stockists and firm global trends.
