Chaibasa (Jharkhand), Aug 6 (PTI) Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was granted bail by an MP-MLA court in Jharkhand’s Chaibasa on Wednesday in connection with a case related to alleged defamatory remarks against Union Home Minister Amit Shah at a rally in 2018. Gandhi appeared before the court around 10.55 am. “Rahul Gandhi ji appeared before the court as per the direction from the Jharkhand High Court. He had sought bail, which was granted. But these apps could be changing how young people connect to others, both online and off. RBI decides to keep interest rate unchanged at 5.5 pc

Mumbai, Aug 6 (PTI) After three successive interest cuts, the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) on Wednesday decided to keep policy rate unchanged at 5.5 per cent and retained the neutral stance, weighed by concerns over tariff uncertainties. Announcing the third bi-monthly monetary policy of the current fiscal, RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said that the growth rate projection for FY26 has been retained at 6.5 per cent.
