New Delhi, Aug 11 (PTI) Snapping a five-day rally, gold prices retreated from record high levels and ended Rs 900 lower at Rs 1,02,520 per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday as stockists turned to selling amid easing geopolitical tensions. According to the All India Sarafa Association, the precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity had climbed Rs 800 to hit a record peak of Rs 1,03,420 per 10 grams on Friday. Mumbai, Aug 11 (PTI) Benchmark BSE Sensex rallied 746 points to close above the 80,000 mark on Monday following buying in oil, auto and banking shares amid fresh foreign fund inflows. The 30-share Sensex jumped 746.29 points or 0.93 per cent to settle at 80,604.08 with 26 of its constituents ending higher. During the day, it surged 778.26 points or 0.97 per cent to 80,636.05.
