NEW YORK, January 16, 2026 (AP) — Nearly a year into his second term, President Donald Trump’s work on the economy hasn’t lived up to the expectations of many people in his own party, according to a new AP-NORC survey. Referring to a protest in Murshidabad’s Beldanga over attacks on migrant workers outside West Bengal, she said the anger of the minority community was “legitimate”. The protest stemmed from repeated incidents of violence against migrant workers, she said.
