New York/Washington, Sep 22 (PTI) All new H-1B visa petitions submitted after September 21, including those for the FY2026 lottery, will require payment of the USD 100,000 fee, as announced by President Donald Trump in a recent proclamation, the US government has said. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in a ‘H-1B FAQ’ document, released on Sunday, said that the September 19 proclamation took an “important, initial, and incremental step” to reform the H-1B visa programme to curb abuses and protect American workers. New Delhi, Sep 19 (PTI) Gold prices rebounded sharply by Rs 800 to Rs 1,14,000 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday tracking firm global cues amid escalating geopolitical tensions and renewed trade frictions between the US and China. According to the All India Sarafa Association, the yellow metal of 99.9 per cent purity had closed at Rs 1,13,200 per 10 grams on Thursday.
