Sensex and Nifty decline in early trade

Mumbai, Nov 3 (PTI) Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty declined in early trade on Monday, amid profit-taking and foreign fund outflows. The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 261.39 points to 83,677.32 in early trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty dropped 62.9 points to 25,659.20. From the Sensex firms, Maruti, Bharat Electronics, Titan, Eternal, Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv were the major laggards. However, Mahindra & Mahindra and State Bank of India were the gainers. They have also named Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai, a former Supreme Court judge, as the chairperson of the Commission. New Delhi, Oct 31 (PTI) Air pollution remains the single largest health risk for people in Delhi, accounting for nearly 15 per cent of all deaths in 2023, according to an analysis of the latest Global Burden of Disease (GBD) data. Mumbai, Oct 31 (PTI) Declining for the second consecutive day, benchmark Sensex retreated by nearly 466 points on Friday following selling in private banks, metal and power shares and a weak trend in global markets. The 30-share BSE Sensex tanked 465.75 points or 0.55 per cent to settle at 83,938.71 as 25 of its constituents fell and five advanced.
