Patna (Bihar) [India], September 5 (ANI): Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday launched a scathing attack on BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) for holding the Bihar Bandh protests yesterday, saying that the world’s largest party, BJP, “unleashed thuggery from all over the world” in Bihar. In a post shared on X, Yadav said, “For the Bihar bandh, they could have hired people just like for the rally. Just as they pressure the police and administration in rallies, for the bandh, they could have told the police themselves to stop the traffic.

Mumbai, Sep 5 (PTI) Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty rallied in early trade on Friday, buoyed by GST rate cuts announcement and a positive trend in global markets. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 318.55 points to 81,036.56 in early trade. The 50-share NSE Nifty rallied 98.05 points to 24,832.35. Mumbai, Sep 5 (PTI) The rupee rose 1 paisa to 88.11 against the US dollar in early trade on Friday on the back of a weaker greenback and a drop in global crude oil prices. However, sustained FII outflows capped further gains in the local unit, according to forex traders.
