New Delhi, Sep 10 (PTI) Gold prices climbed Rs 250 to scale yet another peak of Rs 1,13,000 per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday, buoyed by robust buying by central banks globally, a weak dollar, and lingering geopolitical uncertainties. So far this year, the precious metal prices have added Rs 34,050 or 43.12 per cent, surging from Rs 78,950 per 10 grams on December 31, 2024. Mumbai, Sep 10 (PTI) The rupee recovered slightly from its record low level and ended with a gain of 4 paise at 88.11 (provisional) against the US dollar on Wednesday aided by strong foreign fund inflows and a weaker greenback. Hopes of a breakthrough in India-US trade talks and positive sentiments in domestic equity markets supported the local unit while rise in crude oil prices capped gains, forex traders said. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 88.14 against the US dollar and traded in a narrow range of 88.06-88.19 before settling at 88.11 (provisional), up 4 paise

Mumbai, Sep 10 (PTI) Benchmark Sensex rose by 323 points while Nifty closed higher for the sixth consecutive day on Wednesday amid renewed optimism over a successful conclusion in India-US trade talks. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 323.83 points or 0.40 per cent to settle at 81,425.15, registering its third straight day of gain. During the day, it jumped 542.56 points or 0.66 per cent to 81,643.88. The 50-share NSE Nifty rallied 104.50 points or 0.42 per cent to 24,973.10.
