ISLAMABAD, April 17 (Reuters) – Pakistan’s air force escorted Iranian negotiators home from inconclusive peace talks ​with the U.S. last weekend, launching a major operation after the Iranians said Israel might seek to kill them, three sources told Reuters. New Delhi, Apr 17 (PTI) Silver price declined by Rs 5,700 to Rs 2.53 lakh per kilogram in the national capital on Friday while gold fell to Rs 1.56 lakh per 10 grams amid subdued demand in the domestic market. According to the All India Sarafa Association, the white metal plunged Rs 5,700, or 2.2 per cent, to Rs 2,53,000 per kg (inclusive of all taxes). Mumbai, Apr 17 (PTI) Stock market benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty rallied nearly 1 per cent on Friday, driven by optimism surrounding easing geopolitical tensions and fresh foreign fund inflows. NEW DELHI, April 17 (Reuters) – Indian oil refiners ​are doing their ‌best to line-up oil cargoes to ​meet local demand, ​an Indian government official ⁠said on ​Friday, after the United ​States decided not to extend a waiver ​from sanctions on ​crude purchases from Russia ‌and ⁠Iran. The U.S. waiver for sanctioned Russian oil purchases expired ​on ​April ⁠11 and the exemption on ​Iranian oil ​is ⁠due to end on April 19.
