New Delhi, Dec 5 (PTI) The Congress on Friday said Leaders of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi have not been invited to the banquet for Russian President Vladimir Putin, and took a swipe at its own MP Shashi Tharoor for accepting the invite. Gold jumps Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,32,900/10g in Delhi amid firm global cues

New Delhi, Dec 5 (PTI) Gold prices jumped by Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,32,900 per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday amid firm global trends, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity had closed at Rs 1,31,600 per 10 grams on Thursday. In the local bullion market, silver surged by Rs 3,500 to Rs 1,83,500 per kilogram (inclusive of all taxes) from previous close of Rs 1,80,000 per kg. Mumbai, Dec 5 (PTI) The rupee on Friday gave up its initial gains and settled for the day lower by 5 paise at 89.94 (provisional) against US dollar, after the Reserve Bank cut key benchmark interest rate for the first time in six months.
