Sydney, Feb 27 (The Conversation) Artificial intelligence (AI) is at a very Chinese time in its life. Recent moves from Chinese AI labs are throwing the dominance of American “frontier labs” such as Google and OpenAI into question. Last week ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, released an AI video-generating tool called Seedance 2.0 which produces high-quality film-like clips from text prompts, with a casual disregard for copyright concerns. New Delhi, Feb 27 (PTI) In a big relief to Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, a court here on Friday discharged the former Delhi chief minister and his ex-deputy in the politically charged liquor policy case, as it refused to take cognisance of the CBI chargesheet. Besides the two leaders, 21 more were discharged in the case. The CBI has been probing alleged corruption in the formulation and execution of the erstwhile-AAP government’s now-scrapped excise policy. Mumbai, Feb 27 (PTI) The rupee fell 4 paise to 90.95 against the US dollar in early trade on Friday, weighed down by FII outflows and a fall in the domestic equity markets in morning session. However, a weaker greenback and a dip in global crude oil prices prevented sharper decline in the local unit, forex traders said. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 90.91 against the US dollar before slipping to 90.95, down 4 paise from its previous close. The rupee settled on a flat note at 90.91 against the US dollar on Thursday. “Despite FPIs
