Mumbai, Sep 1 (PTI) INDIA bloc on Friday resolved to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections together “as far as possible” and said the seat-sharing arrangements will be concluded at the earliest in a spirit of “give-and-take”. The alliance adopted a resolution to this effect and said its theme for the elections will be “Judega Bharat, Jeetega India, (India will unite, India will win)”. “We, the INDIA parties, hereby resolve to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections together as far as possible. New Delhi, Sep 1 (PTI) The GST revenues for August 2023 have shown a growth of 11 per cent year on year due to increased compliance and less evasion, Revenue secretary Sanjay Malhotra said on Friday. The collection from Goods and Services Tax (GST) was Rs 1,43,612 crore in August 2022. “Roughly numbers are in the range of 11 per cent year on year growth as in earlier months,” Malhotra told reporters. New Delhi, Sep 1 (PTI) One Nation, One Election means conducting the Lok Sabha, and all Vidhan Sabha (state assemblies) elections together, once in five years.
