Bhopal, Nov 30 (PTI) The Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday night decided to give the additional charge of chief secretary to senior IAS officer Veera Rana, a senior official said. The 1988-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer is currently posted as chairperson of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education and also holds the additional charge of the state’s agriculture production commissioner. Coronary heart disease in middle-aged people at risk of dementia in later life

LONDON, Nov. 30 (UPI) – People diagnosed with coronary heart disease in early middle age are at much higher risk of developing dementia in later life than people with healthy hearts, according to a Chinese study of more than 400,000 Britons published Wednesday. Men and women who develop heart disease early, particularly those under 45, have a 36% increased risk of developing dementia, a 13% increased risk of Alzheimer’s and are 78% more likely to develop vascular dementia — brain impairment caused by oxygen and nutrient deprivation, according to the research published in Journal of the American Heart Association. Chicago [US], November 29 (ANI): According to a study presented at the annual conference of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), researchers discovered empirical evidence of how the neck muscles are implicated in primary headaches.
