JERUSALEM, June 19, 2026 (AP) — Talks between the U.S. and Iran were called off Friday after intense fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, officials said, raising questions about an initial agreement to end the war in Iran. Israel and the militant group later agreed to renew their ceasefire, three officials said. Word of the ceasefire came from two regional officials and a U.S. official. New Delhi, Jun 19 (PTI) Gold prices extended their slide for the fourth straight session, falling Rs 2,840 to Rs 1.5 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Friday, while silver slumped to over two-month low of Rs 2.4 lakh per kg as a resurgent US dollar sparked selling in precious metals.
