CBI registers case against superintendent of customs and others
New Delhi [India], August 23 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against the Superintendent, Bond Section, Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House (JNCH), Raigad (Maharashtra) and two private companies based in Goregaon, Thane, and unknown others for conspiring to get goods delivered without paying the fines, causing a loss to the Government Exchequer, an official said on Wednesday. The CBI informed that a Joint Surprise Check was earlier conducted in the Bond section of JNCH, Raigad, by the CBI along with officials of JNCH.
