New Delhi [India], January 27 (ANI): The Ministry of Education has released the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) 2021-2022 which said that female enrolment in Higher Education increased to 2.07 crore in 2021-22 from 1.57 crore in 2014-15 (an increase of 50 lakh students, 32 percent increase). As per the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) released on Thursday, the enrolment of SC students is 66.23 lakh in 2021-22 as compared to 46.07 lakh in 2014-15 (an increase of 44 per cent). New Delhi, Jan 27 (PTI) The Supreme Court on Saturday stayed all proceedings before the Calcutta High Court in a matter relating to alleged irregularities in the issuance of reserved category certificates and admission of MBBS candidates in state-run medical colleges and hospitals in West Bengal. Survey finds mosque in India’s Varanasi was built over temple – Hindu petitioners

LUCKNOW, India, Jan 26 (Reuters) – The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has found that a 17th century mosque in one of Hinduism’s holiest cities was built after destroying a Hindu temple that existed there, a lawyer for Hindu petitioners said, a possible new flashpoint in a decades-long dispute. Muslim lawyers in the legal case being heard in the city of Varanasi disputed the comments by the lawyer for the Hindu petitioners but did not give details.
