New Delhi, Nov 27 (PTI) Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned for the day on Wednesday as opposition members insisted on a discussion on various issues, including bribery charges related to the Adani Group. The proceedings were briefly adjourned in the morning session due to opposition protest, and when the House re-assembled at 11.30 AM, there were identical scenes. Supreme Court rejects plea for reverting to ballots in elections

New Delhi, Nov 26 (PTI) The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition seeking to revert to ballot paper voting in elections in the country. “What happens is, when you win the election, EVMs (electronic voting machine) are not tampered. When you lose the election, EVMs are tampered (with),” remarked a bench of Justices Vikram Nath and P B Varale.
